Thank you for taking time to visit our Church website. We hope you are able to take a little time and find out about who we are and what we believe.
We invite you to come on Sunday morning and check us out. We hope you will be able to stay for a short time after the service where we will have the opportunity to meet you informally over light refreshments.
Should you also be looking for a spiritual home and family to love and serve Jesus Christ, then naturally we encourage you to return as often as you can so as to get a greater appreciation of our heart, ministry and spiritual values.

Tony Martin (Senior Pastor)

There are at least three things the people at
Victory Community Christian Church have in common:

1. We love Jesus Christ and have received Him into our
lives as our personal Saviour and Lord.
2. We love and honour God's Word the Bible.
3. We love one another and desire to be a place where
people of all backgrounds, races and social standing
will come and worship God in love and unity - a place
where the hurting, broken and lonely can find the
saving, healing power and presence of God.

 Our Purpose Statement
We are committed to lead people to Christ, grow them up in Christ and send them out for Christ.

Connecting
i belong
Finding your place in the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12)

Our desire is for everyone in our church family to build strong supporting relationships as they discover their full potential in Christ through a growing network of connect group and ministry activities.

 Growing
i grow
Building your life as a disciple of Christ (Matt. 28:18-20)

To provide the tools and resources that will assist believers to apply the truth of God’s Word to every life circumstance, enabling them to become fully committed, Spirit filled disciples of Jesus Christ.

Serving
i serve
Involving yourself in the service of Christ (Rom. 12:3-10)

Assisting each believer to identify and develop their God given gifts for effective service and leadership, both within the church and community, for the glory of God.

Reaching
i go
Sharing your faith with the Gospel of Christ (1 Peter 3:15)

Through a variety of creative ways, Victory Christian Church exists to reach out to every person possible with the message of God's reconciling and unconditional love. Our purpose is to bring them into a personal life changing faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

About Us

VICTORY COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (VCCC) is a Christian church affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches. We changed our name from Christian Ministry Centre to Victory Community Christian Church when we moved from Telopea to Cherrybrook in 1998.  Part of our vision in coming to Cherrybrook is to build an appealing, functional, multi-purpose worship and teaching centre to establish strong links with various community groups as a means for increasing our influence with the Gospel. We are now realising the beginning of this vision. Part of our long term plan is to build an appealing, functional, multi-purpose worship and teaching centre to help establish strong links with various community groups as a means of increasing our influence with the Gospel.

VCCC is committed to the proclamation of the good news of the Gospel and the timeless unchanging truth of God’s Word. It is the Word of God anointed by the Holy Spirit that equips and empowers us to Christian Maturity and the work of Christian Ministry. That ministry includes praying and believing for God to work supernaturally in miracles and in healing for both physical and spiritual needs. While the Christian Gospel is spiritual in nature, it is also intensely practical. The Cross of Christ is both vertical and horizontal. We do not prescribe to the kind of 'spirituality' that is only defined in terms of increased Bible knowledge or is measured by feelings and experiences. We choose to measure spirituality by changed lives, as well as practical Christian living and service. "It is by their fruit" Jesus said, "you shall know them".

WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!

There is no truth more liberating than the one Jesus used to describe His own purpose for coming into the world.

“He has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor,
to announce release to the captives, and recovery of
sight to the blind; to send forth delivered those who
are oppressed - who are downtrodden, bruised,
crushed and broken down by calamity"

The church is not a building made of bricks, but one that is constructed of people who are made strong by His love and whose hands reach out to touch and embrace everyone they can with His love and healing power. Whoever you are, we confidently say to you, that nothing has to be "hopeless", and that there is absolutely nothing and no one too difficult for God.

IN BRIEF WE BELIEVE

·   The Bible (Old and New Testament) is the inspired word of God

·   There is only ONE God who created all things

·   God is revealed to all through his son Jesus Christ

·   Jesus Christ lived on earth as a man and died upon the cross for our sins

·   Jesus Christ rose on the third day to be the Saviour of everyone who puts their faith and trust in Him

·   The HOLY SPIRIT lives within us, empowering and equipping the Christian for service and ministry

·   The CHURCH both local & worldwide is made up of all who have come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour regardless of race, colour or creed.
